How to Make Lip Gloss Using Crayons

1. Shea Butter
2. Olive Oil
3. Crayons - Crayola Crayons are the best for this as they have the most pigment.
4. Vanilla essence
5. Small Glass Container
6. A measuring spoon
7. A pot for boiling water
8. A container to put the mixture in
9. A stirrer for the mixture
Now for the Fun Part:
■ First choose your crayon colour - remove the label and cut it up into small pieces to make them melt easier.
■ Get your small glass container - it needs to be able to take the heat of boiling water. Add the cut-up crayon and 1 teaspoon of shea butter, and a teaspoon of olive oil into the bowl.
■ Bring a pot of water to the bowl. Place the glass container in the boiling water - making sure the boiling water doesn't enter the mixture bowl. Stir the mixture as it melts. Keep stirring until it has all melted and mixed together.
■ Then add 1/4 of a teaspoon of vanilla essence for fragrance. Mix together and then pour the mixture into your small container.
■ Place the container with the lip gloss in the freezer for half and hour.
■ Then you have home made lip gloss.
■ This craft activity requires adult supervision.
