So How Do You Make a Beautiful Heart Canvas for your special Valentine
Items you will need are:
■ A canvas
■ Tape or hot glue
■ Crayons - Crayola Crayons have the most pigment so will give you the most vibrant designs
■ A hair dryer
■ Lots of newspaper as this can be quite messy
First draw a heart shape on your canvas with a pencil. You can draw this free-hand, use a stencil or a heart shaped baking tray.
Next make sure you lay out lots of newspaper as it can be quite messy.
Choose the colour crayons you want - i.e. do you want red, or perhaps a rainbow heart. Next arrange the crayons around your stenciled heart and stick down with the tape or glue gun.
Now comes the messy part. With your hair-dry blow the crayons towards the edge of the paper and watch them melt. With the heart shape you can either move the canvas around to ensure the heart doesn't get crayon in there or you can tape down a heart shaped baking tin (for extra protection) and remove later.
Let your artwork dry?
