You Are My World was recorded live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on 25 February 2001 by Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong team, with over 300 singers and musicians. This was the first live praise and worship album Hillsong Church recorded in the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Over 9,000 people from the newly merged Hillsong Church congregation in both the Hills and City came together to record the album.
This DVD features a documentary in the making of this album, interviews with Darlene and the Hillsong Team, Production Notes, plus 3 bonus songs that are not on the CD, which includes Darlene's 'Glorious'.
A couple of highlights from the evening included:
- a percussion/drum feature in ‘Your Love Is Beautiful' which nearly lifted the roof of the venue with thunderous praises to our God
- an intimate, almost unaccompanied ‘reprise' at the end of the night, exposing the raw heartbeat of the church
- These moments expressed the church's adoration of the Father, taking the worship to another level.
- Thousands left the Sydney Entertainment Centre later that night, having encountered our awesome King's presence, drawn into the world of His irresistible love.
