It was recorded at the Allphones Arena in Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney Australia, the Sydney Entertainment Centre and the Hillsong Convention Centre by Reuben Morgan, Joel Houston, Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong Worship Team on the 30 October 2011 and the early part of 2012.
Hillsong LIVE is the expression of worship from Hillsong Church - a local church with global influence. This local church creative team has a commitment to continually resource the Body of Christ with fresh songs of worship and a deep passion to see people connect with the Living God in a real and personal way. "Cornerstone", the latest album offering from Hillsong LIVE, was recorded in Sydney, Australia and is a reflection of that firm commitment.
